Making a Trail

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Hong Kong cannot be more different than Beijing. This place is a bustling metropolis with clean streets, organized subways, and no pollution. It did rain every day we were here, but we had a great time. The geography is somewhat like San Francisco: a small city nestled against big hills, and an area across the water that is not as classy, but still fun and has great food (without all the drive-by shootings of Oakland). And Hong Kong proper is an island. And they have tropical weather. So maybe not like SF totally, but still cool.
One of the main things to do in Hong Kong is take a street car all the way up to Victoria peak, one of the highest peaks of the island, and get a great view of the city and harbor. The previous and following pictures were from the trolley ride.
