Making a Trail

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

The first time we tried to go to this spot the line was nearly around the block.

Described to us as a traditionally Hong Kong breakfast, we felt compelled to go. Mistake.

This was like in n out but not good. Basically 3 items on the menu. Everyone gets the “breakfast set” which is one pice of toast, crustless, cut diagonally, scrambled or fried eggs, and some noodles in noodle water with sliced deli ham. The eggs were weird and oily, but I still ate them. The noodle ham thing reminded me of this:

For a place that appreciates dim sum so much, which is pretty much the best kind of breakfast you can have, I was dumbfounded by popularity of this place. So was Becky.

Strikes and gutters. This was a gutter.
